21 September University A bridge from education to learning

21 September University of Applied and Medical Sciences is a leading government university, distinguished by being the first specialized medical university in the region. Since its founding, the university has undertaken the mission of providing high-quality education in the medical and applied fields, with the aim of preparing qualified cadres who contribute to the development of the national health system and achieve academic excellence. 21 September University of Applied and Medical Sciences was established on the eighth of Ramadan 1437 AH, June 13, 2016 AD, in accordance with the decision of the Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee No. (161) of 2016 AD. The university was established in response to the growing need for specialized medical education in the region. Since its inception it has witnessed remarkable growth in academic infrastructure and expanded its educational programs to meet the needs of students and the community. The university currently includes 26 diverse academic programs, including four higher diploma programs, thirteen bachelor’s degree programs, and nine master’s degree programs. This diversity reflects the university commitment to providing a wide range of specializations that meet the needs of the local and international market.
